The A.D. King Foundation joins Legacy Above the Sun, and L.O.V.E. LLC to honor the legacy of the late Dr. Naomi Ruth Barber King with a unique donation. Her beautiful and globally defined and designed collection of garments spans decades and continents while delivering a historical legacy in threads, feathers and leather.
"Because my grandmother was a Christian philanthropist and faithful civil rights activist, we believe her love for the arts makes this donation to a theatrical company timely and appropriate," says Legacy Above the Sun founder Celeste Beal.
Dr. Babs Onabanjo, President of The A. D. King Foundation added: "The legacy of Rev. A.D. King and Dr. Naomi King includes Christian ministry, empowerment of youth and families, and justice and dignity for the entire human race. We are blessed to have Dr. Naomi and her life of service honored in this way."
Dr. Cassandra Greene, writer, producer, director and founder of W.O.W.W. Ministries & Productions, is the recipient of this historic endowment.
