Merry Christmas friends! Please join us December 21, 2025 for ministry online at 7 PM for worship and communion as we honor the birth, life, resurrection and gift of JESUS CHRIST.
This Christmas will be my second holiday without my mother Dr. Naomi Ruth Barber King who passed away in 2024. Tiz a bittersweet season for me; and for many others who are recovering from grief and loss.
I am dedicating my Christmas album to her memory this year.
Meanwhile, for some our world is reeling with the cataclysmic shifts caused by certain political activities here in America first; and around the world. Some are happy, and some are devastated. I’m praying for supernatural revival; and looking to God for answers.
In the midst of all of this I hear the voice of my grandfather Rev. Martin Luther King Sr., who after many of life’s victories and disappointments would often say: “Thank God for what we have left. I’m going on to see what the end will be.”
Prayerfully, wherever you are this Christmas, you can pause and take a moment to thank God for something in your life. No matter how bad or hopefully how good life can be, let us always try to find something to be thankful for.

At any rate, please remember that Jesus loves us, no matter what. As members of the one blood human race, from the womb to the tomb and beyond... As we pause to celebrate the season, from Thanksgiving’s reflection to Christmas’s joy to the hope of a new year, I’m reminded of Luke 2:14: “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men.”
This season, please try to put Faith over fear. I pray and am grateful that Holy Spirit is real. In Christ, God is our Father. By God’s grace, as the one blood humanity created by God - You and I - WE are wanted. WE are needed. WE are loved.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.”
John 3:16-17 KJV
And as we look towards the year ahead, may we do so with renewed faith and hope. Let’s carry the light of Christ in defiance of despair. Let’s thank God for what remains. Let’s love fiercely, forgive quickly, repent sincerely and keep faith alive in our homes, our communities, and our nation(s).
Personally, I'm grateful that I'll be with family on Christmas day. Salvation, family, and life are precious. Wherever you may be, God bless you on your journey; and as my grandfather would say: “Keep looking up.” Merry Christmas.
