Yesterday was August 28, 2025. 57 years ago, my uncle Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. gave his iconic “I Have A Dream” speech on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial. Much has transpired since that day.
I spent today in Washington, DC in the capacity of senior advisor to the United States Department of Agriculture and as chairman of the Center for the American dream for AFPI.
It was a nostalgic day. Different times, different circumstances; however, the solution to all of humanities issues is one simple fact. People need the Lord.
I'm sending this reminder today, as we are nearing the end of this long hot summer, just to encourage you to do what my grandfather Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King said: "make it plain and keep looking up." In case you missed it there are a couple of wonderful film projects out right now; the movie “Pardon Me”, and the documentary “The Revival Generation”. You don't want to miss either of these life-transforming events.
As the annual Labor Day holiday occurs over this weekend, I am praying for you. May God bless us all. Amen.
